I would love to learn how to do incredible plaster, wood and concrete work as in the style of the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia.
A tour is highly recommended...it is an architectural treasure.
To further inspire design and building ideas...go to The Moravian Tile Works in Bucks County and see Henry Mercer's masterpiece at Font Hill.
I used the mortar board up-side-down for and hour yesterday...before I realized...
"Gee, this big side is easier." So I need to work on my skills a bit more. But I did make a nice flat wall last night...as per Uncle Guido's request. He gave his seal of approval this morning.
I must say, I love this kind of work. If I thought I could make a real go of it...I'd do it full time.
