I Had a Dream I Was Being Chased by Something Big and Invisible @ Society Hill Synagogue / Opening Reception: Friday, 12/2/11, 4:30 - 6:30pm

I Had a Dream I Was Being Chased by Something Big and Invisible

Please join Moore College of Art & Design's Critical Discourse Class, featuring the 2012 BFA candidates as we present, “I Had a Dream I Was Being Chased by Something Big and Invisible.” The opening reception will be held Friday, December 2nd, 4:30 - 6:30pm at Society Hill Synagogue, 418 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. The show runs through January 5th.

Everyone has dreams, visions, memories that have an impact on their day-to-day lives. Periodically, one stumbles upon an eerie idea that stays with them, affecting all who experience it.  While driving through the countryside, Katie Locke happened upon a sign that declared, "I had a dream I was being chased by something big and invisible." This statement has inspired nine artists from Moore College of Art & Design to bring to fruition haunting but beautiful work.

Featuring: Kaytee Della Monica, Meghan Devonshire, Rosalie Genuardi, Katherine Heilman, Gracie Lewis, Kathryn Locke, Carissa Marinelli, Kelly McCaughern, and Hayley Tomlinson.

Thank you to Society Hill Synagogue for their generous support of Moore College of Art & Design’s "Critical Discourse Class."
